Transition Handbook discussion group
Join us to read The Transition Handbook: From oil dependency to local resilience by Rob Hopkins (founder of the Transition Movement).
We will meet every other week starting Wednesday, September 14, to learn about Transition and consider personal and community responses to the threats of peak oil and climate change. We use a study guide developed by Transition Seattle: http://transitionseattle.com/resources/discussion/. Cost: you can purchase the book for about $20-25.
[UPDATE Sept 12: William Mutch writes: “The dates are 9/14, 9/28, 10/12, 10/26, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30. So, every other week for two months, then an odd schedule in November, to avoid the holidays.”]
